Aware is a unique not-for-profit Melbourne based organisation committed to bringing about positive change in the lives of disadvantaged women and young people, through the medium of art. We support and facilitate creative classes for homeless youth, street children, orphans and women around the world with the aim of increasing the self esteem of the participant and building awareness of the issues faced by these young people in the wider community.

We work with art as expressing oneself artistically is a non-threatening and fun technique proven to drastically improve quality of life. We have seen first hand the way that the confidence gained from artistic expression can change lives. The positivity created reverberates into many aspects of a person's life, assisting in community involvement, schooling, self-confidence, and creating sustainable livelihoods.
